We don’t know exactly why you’re here. Maybe you feel called to write songs, maybe you’re sensing a lack you want to fill, maybe you’re just curious. Whatever reason brought you to this moment, we want to invite you to pause and put it before God. Ask him to lead you through this orientation and stir your heart as you seek him.
What is a Living Liturgy?
Liturgy simply means the “work of worship.” Everyone who leads worship, plans worship, or writes songs for worship is a liturgist. Each weekend, liturgists take the stage and, intentionally or not, lead people in a story of worship to God. Every song, prayer, transition, slide, and video proclaims something about how to worship God.
A living liturgy reveals the truth of God through the power of his presence in every moment. We believe the key to empowering living liturgies is inviting worship songwriters to seek God for songs that are meant to exist in the time and place God has called them.
We’re writing original songs of worship that respond to God’s heart, honor the place he’s planted us, and serve the calling he’s given us.
This Simple Orientation
Our organization teaches a way of worship, not just a method for writing songs. Rather than pitch every package, product, and opportunity we have available, we wanted to invite you orient yourself around the heart of Living Liturgy.
We’re not asking you to consider what to sign over, purchase, or join. We’re inviting you to see yourself in our story and consider how we can serve you in your calling. There are many ways to work with us and participate in our work, from simple engagements to all-in collaborations. Those choices come later; right now, we want to tell a story that we think will resonate with your calling.
You can begin the journey when you’re ready, return when you’re available, and move forward when you sense God’s prompting.
Thanks for being here.
